Complaints Policy

We want every homeowner who uses our referral service to have a good experience. If something has gone wrong, here is how to raise it and what we will do.

Complaints About Our Referral Service

If you are unhappy with how we handled your inquiry, the information on this website, or a referral we made, contact us at [email protected] or call (509) 479-4053. Include your name, contact details, and a description of the issue. We aim to acknowledge complaints within two business days and respond with our findings within ten business days.

Complaints About a Contractor

Construction contracts are between you and the professional you hired, so the first step is usually to raise the issue with them directly and in writing. If we referred that professional to you, please tell us as well; a pattern of complaints affects whether we continue referring them.

Washington State Resources

Construction contractors in Washington must be registered with the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (L&I). You can verify a contractor's registration, bond, and insurance using L&I's Verify a Contractor tool at lni.wa.gov, and you can file a complaint with L&I about unregistered activity or seek recovery against a contractor's bond. For issues involving unfair or deceptive business practices, you may also file a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division at atg.wa.gov.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under Washington law.
